Yipee Whale Card

Hello.

I wanted to make another hand drawn card using different card by Papermilldirect and also added some hand stitching.

You will need the following craft making supplies:

• Celestial Blue Plain Card 290gsm
• White Card Super Smooth 250gsm
• Black Plain Card 240gsm
• Bianco Artico Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
• Oltremare Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm
• Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm

You will also need:

• Black Pen
• Stamps (Studio Calico)
• Black, Blue and Pink Pigment Ink
• Congrats Stamp
• Embossing Powder (WOW)
• Needle and Thread
• Nuvo Drops

For the card base I trimmed down a piece of Celestial Blue Plain Card 290gsm to 4 1/4" and scored at 5 7/8". I then trimmed down a smaller piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm. Using the stamps and pigment ink I stamped the images and made my own background. Adhere this to your card blank using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then hand cut the whale using some Bianco Artico Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm and Oltremare Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm and hand stitched the edges. I then added some eyes and a smile. I then adhered this onto the card with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then heat embossed the sentiment onto some Black Plain Card 240gsm trimmed this out and adhered onto the card.

To finish the card off I added some Nuvo Drops.
