Hi all,

Nicole here to share another fun Christmas card idea with you all. Red, gold, white and kraft are a lovely christmas card colour combination. I wanted to use them but have the focal image something a little different. So I used a image that you might typically use for a birthday card, and by colouring it red and gold, and the bunny in a shimmering silver, it adds a festive touch. This card uses Papermilldirect Buff Smooth Card as its main neutral card colour. I then brought in accents of the Papermilldirect Red Plain card as it pairs so well with it.

On the background I stamped a snow effect in white ink to add some texture and dimension. I water coloured the image in metalic inks as well as traditional water colours so there is some lovely shimmer on it as you can see in the image below.

Don't be afraid to use your non traditional images on your holiday cards in this way and be creative!
