I cut a UK A6 card blank from a sheet of A4 Ivory Hammered 255gsm card. (This is half of the card lengthways so nice and easy!) I cut down a piece of the Purple Vino Sirio Coloured Card 290gsm to several mm smaller than the A6 card front. I ADORE this colour. It is so rich ❤️ Then from the remainder of the Ivory Hammered Card, I cut a piece several mm smaller than the purple card to sit on top. However, I hate wastage, especially of such a beautiful card so I 'hollowed' out the centre of the Purple card using a craft knife. This will go back into my stash to be used on a future project.

I adhered the Ivory layer to the Purple layer using wet glue.

I took some lace with one straight edge, laid the flat edges parallel to one another and adhered the edges on the reverse with some double sided tape.

I did similarly with some purple ribbon - ran it across the join of the lace and adhered it on the reverse with some more double sided tape.

I stamped my sentiment onto a small rectangle of the Ivory Hammered Card. This took several impressions to get a bold enough finish. I mounted this onto a piece of the Purple card several mm larger round each edge than the ivory sentiment panel. I adhered the 2 using wet glue.

To tie everything together, I adhered this panel to the card blank using foam tape and adhered the sentiment using double sided tape which is a great adhesive for fabrics and materials.

This completes the card.

I hope you like it ☺️

Until next time, take care.
