Shimmer Stocking Christmas Card

Good morning.

I love adding something a bit different to my cards and Papermilldirect's Pearlised card is so pretty and elegant. I made a Christmas card with a few different colours and they work so well together.

The products I used are:

• White Card Plain 250gsm
• Orchid Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm
• Rose Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm
• Ice Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm
• Maya Blue Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm
• Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
• Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm

You will also need:

• Stocking die
• Snowflake die
• Heat gun
• Gold embossing powder
• Sequins
• Silver twine

To make the card base I used a piece of White Card Plain 250gsm that I trimmed down to 4 1/4 and scored halfway to make my base. I then trimmed down a piece of Rose Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm and adhered this onto my base using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I die cut my stockings with a piece of Ice Gold Pearlised Card 300gsm. I then die cut the snowflake die with Orchid Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm. I adhered these onto the card with some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then embossed the greeting onto some Maya Blue Double Sided Pearlised Card 300gsm with some gold embossing powder and cut this out and adhered this onto my card base using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

To finish the card off I added some sequins.

I love how this is so pretty and the shimmer looks so lovely. This is also great if you are looking to quickly make some Christmas cards. You will be best to die cut all your pieces before making a bulk of Christmas cards.
