Good morning,

Today I am going to show you how to use your pigment inks to make a colourful background using the White Card Super Smooth 300gsm.

The products I used are:

You will also need:

  • Animal stamps
  • Copic markers
  • Pigment ink: I used pink, yellow and green.
  • White embossing powder
  • Heat gun
  • Sequins

To make the card base I trimmed a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm to4 1/4 and scored at 5 1/2 inches. I then used another piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and trimmed this for my card base. I then applied my pigments inks and blended them onto the White Card Super Smooth 300gsm card front panel. Once this is complete I stamped my images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and coloured them in with copics.

I then adhered the front panel that is ink blended onto my card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm. I cut out all my images and adhered these onto the ink blended panel using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then heat embossed my greetings onto some Ruby Red Plain Card 240gsm and Black Plain Card 250gsm using white embossing powder. Once trimmed adhere to your card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

To finish off the card I added some sequins and adhered this onto the card using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

I hope this tutorial was helpful and papermilldirect's White Card Super Smooth 300gsm is great for ink blending and copic colouring too!

Have fun!
