I love making cards for birthdays where the recipient has a definite colour they love. In this case, it was pink please! Papermilldirect makes it so easy to coordinate colours with their mixed card packs. I used the Pink Mixed Card pack for this card and it was so easy to work with. It gives you a sheet of a selection of perfect pinks, from plain, and pastel to glitter, and I used a selection on this card.

I started by making a panel to matt onto a white card base, choosing one with a bit of a shimmer, the Powder Pink Pure Pearl card.

I laid a plain die cut on top of this, using the Baby Pink card, and decided I liked the off-set look of it. So I added it to the panel and trimmed off the excess.

I laid another die cut of Powder Pink Pure Pearl card on top of this, using foam tape for dimension.

I then used the non-shed Flamingo pink glitter card to cut out some paper bows. I was not sure of the size I needed, or if I wanted them all to be in the glitter at this stage, so I cut a few options, but in the end I went with the Flamingo pink!

I added an image I stamped and coloured with Prismacolor pencils using foam tape for more dimension, and added a stamped sentiment.

I added the bow to the card and it was done! I love how all the shades of pink work together one this one. Have you tried the Papermilldirect mixed packs before? What do you think of them?!
