Merry Bright

A quick and simple card. Make any size card base from White Super Smooth 250gsm and add a slightly smaller matted layer in your choice of shiny card stock. Gold Mirri used in this example. I usually make the mat a quarter of an inch smaller which leaves an eighth of an inch margin around the mat.

Next make a Super Smooth White top layer, one quarter of an inch smaller than the shiny matted layer. Position your choice of die cut in the centre of the top layer and run through your machine.

Add a sentiment to the layer and heat emboss in a coordinating colour. I have used Ranger Gold Tinsel.

Assemble the layers using double sided tape or liquid adhesive, making sure to affix any embellishments behind the layers where needed. Insert die cut shape back into the top layer leaving out some pieces for the shiny card to show through.

A lovely card made in ten minutes.
