Thinking Of You Card- Ink blending Onto White Card Super Smooth0
I absolutely love Papermilldirects White Card Super Smooth 300gsm I think I use it on every card I make. Today I will show you how well you can blend your inks onto this card.
The products I used are:
- White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
- Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm
- Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml
- You will also need:
- Stamps and ink
- Marker pens
- Pigment ink and sponges
- Scalloped die
- Die cutting machine
- Rubber embossing mat
To start with I stamped my images onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and coloured them in with my markers. I then cut them out and put them to the side.
For my card base and card front I cut down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm scored and folded this in half. I then cut a piece for my card front.
The next step is ink blending. Using pigment inks on card can sometimes take a long time to build up colour and blend on normal card, however blending onto White Card Super Smooth 300gsm is easy! I made this background in a few minutes! I have said before its like blending butter onto this card, and it looks amazing too! If you are new to ink blending or professional you will not be disappointed with this card.
I picked my two colours to blend and I always start from the outside working towards the middle. Once this is done I stamped my greeting and then placed my oval die over the card and embossed this using a rubber embossing mat in my cutting machine. I then adhered the card front to my base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.
I hope you enjoy making your card and blending your inks!
Have a great day!
