Hello everyone,

With Valentine's fast approaching we thought we would make some cute little Heart Holders so we can spoil all the Papermilldirect staff!

What you'll need

▢ A4 Card to make 3 Large Lolly Holders and 2 Small Sweet Holders- We used Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm and Tintoretto Paprika 250gsm
▢ Double Sided Tape
▢ Silhouette Cameo - You can use any cutting machine or use our silhoutte image to create a stencil.
(We made the image by layering a plain black heart using Adobe Illustrator, the image I made was based on this Die Cut that you can buy here: https://www.aliexpress.com/ite...
I prefer creating cutting files to use with my Silhouette Cameo over buying Dies as it means I can resize the image to fit any project in the future.)
▢Sweeties!

I traced the image using the Silhouette Design Studio and made a few varying sizes as a test. I also added lolly holes to some of the larger sizes and a few lines where I wanted the card to fold.

Once I was happy with the sizes, I positioned my holders so they would all fit on an A4 sheet.

Normally my Silhouette cuts all Papermilldirect cards beautifully on the Glitter Card Stock setting but it was giving me a hard time cutting my card when I first tried. I cleaned the blade and threatened to buy a new one then turned the Blade Depth up and added an extra pass over for good luck.

Who said threatening electronics was a sign of madness?
It worked for me!
Once my Heart Holders had been cut out I added a stamp to the back and a heart to both sides in an alternative colour to the base with double-sided tape.
I then used double-sided tape to adhere my sweets to the card and close the Heart Holders around the sweets.
