Hello everyone! Are we well?

I wanted to share a card with you today using some Kraft card. Such a classic card, massively underrated but achieves beautiful effects. Perfect for just about every occasion too!

I'll talk you through this simple card...

The design of my card called for a vase. I could not find one in my stash of stamps nor dies so I drew and cut a template by hand onto copier paper. Once I was happy with this, I drew round it onto some White 180gsm Vellum, first in pencil, then over this in 0.8 fineliner. I then cut this out.

I made a UK A6 top fold card blank using Kraft Materica 250gsm card.

I placed my vellum vase into the centre of this and gently placed pencil mark at the top and bottom to create a guide for the vase.

Between this marks, I drew 3 flower stems using a fineliner and coloured in a green Alcohol marker.

I now removed the pencil marks.

I wrapped a cream ribbon bow round the neck on the vellum vase.

I stamped, coloured and cut 3 floral images onto 250gsm white Super Smooth Card. I added liberal amounts of highlight using my white gel pen.

I decided to also add some leaves to my flowers as per the previous step.

Glue shows through vellum, so I attached my vase to my card using small amounts of adhesive to the top of the vase where it would be obscured my both the ribbon and the flowers.

I placed my flowers until I was happy with the composition and once happy, adhered them using wet adhesive.

I finished by adding a sentiment from a pack of pre printed sentiments in my stash using foam tape. This overlapped the vase which also helped secure it.

I also added some clear flatback cabachons to compliment the look.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.

Until next time, take care.

Love, Dani xx
