Good Morning.

I have a fun tutorial for you today. This is not a normal size card its more of a DL size so I could fit all the animals on, but its very simple to make.

The products I used are:

You will also need:

  • Animal stamps (Simon Says Stamp)
  • Alphabet Die
  • Green Pigment Ink
  • Zig water colour Brush Markers
  • Black Waterproof Ink (My Favorite Things)
  • Sun Die (Lil Inker Designs)
  • Nuvo Drops

Good Luck

To make the card base I used a piece of Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm which I scored lengthways at 4 1/8 inches. I then trimmed this at 7 inches. I then trimmed a smaller piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm smaller than the base and added some green pigment ink with a sponge along the bottom.I then adhered this to my card base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then used the following card to die cut the letters to make good luck:

I adhered these onto the card with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

I then die cut a sun using some Mandarin Orange Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm and adhered this to the top of my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I then used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and stamped and coloured the images in. I was careful with the amount of water I added as if you add too much your card will start to get soggy. Once they were dry I trimmed them out and adhered to the bottom of my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

To finish the card off I added some nuvo drops.

I really love how this turned out. Plus its pretty long for a few people to write a good luck note to the recipient.
