Elegant Card for Men

It can be hard to make cards for men, but sticking to a solid colour palet, with a little bit of patterned paper in the mix can make this easier. For this birthday card for a man I used:
I created my card base from some of the Maroon card. I then created my layers from some patterned paper and cream hammered card.
I created a banner for the card with some more of the maroon card.
I die cut a shape and stamped a sentiment on it in white ink. It didn't come out as bold as I wanted so I went over it again with a white gel pen.
I created a matting layer from the cream card for the sentiment.
I added the sentiment panel on with foam tape for more dimension and it was done. I love this colour combo, its very elegant and quite masculine too!
