Hello Vic here today with a shaker card.

The products I used are:

You will also need craft supplies:

  • Scalloped frame die (Time for tea designs)
  • Hamster Stamp ( Magengo designs)
  • Cloud Die
  • Sequins and Gems
  • Sun Die
  • Sentiment (Mama Elephant)
  • White embossing powder (Wow)
  • Heat gun
  • Acetate
  • Foam tape

To start with I trimmed down a piece of White Card Hammered 255gsm to make an A6 card base. I then trimmed another piece as this will be my shaker card backer.

I then used the rectangle frame die and die cut the frame using New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm. I die cut this twice and adhered together using pva glue. I then added a piece of acetate to the back and adhered down with pva glue. I then added foam tape all around the back of the frame before adding lots of sequins and gems.

Next peel the foam tape and adhere this to your backing card. Your shaker part is now complete, you will need to adhere this to your card base.

Next I coloured in the image using White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and my markers. I trimmed this out and adhered to my shaker card using foam tape.

For the sentiment I heat embossed a birthday sentiment onto some Black Plain Card 240gsm and heat set this with my heat gun. Trim down and adhere to your card.

To finish the card off I added some clouds that I die cut using Ivory Card Smooth 250gsm and die cut a sun with some Daffodil Plain Card 290gsm. Adhere to your card using foam tape.

Your card is now complete.
