Birthday Card - CAS for Men

The new Papermilldirect card packs are fantastic with such a great mix of colours in them. I decided to make a masculine birthday card, as they are always good to have in the stash! For this one I used the Autumn Mixed Card pack and the Maroon and Mocha brown card from it.

I created a card base from the Mocha brown card and cut down a layer of the Maroon card to go over it.

I then embossed this red panel with a woodgrain embossing folder.

I then die cut letters to spell out Happy Birthday from the red card.

I cut and tore strips of the Mocha card to size these letters onto. I needed 3 of these strips to space out the letters properly. These were then adhered to the red woodgrain panel and the letters were stuck to these.

I added some enamel dots, but otherwise left it simple and plain. It makes a good card to have in the stash, handy for those last minute mens birthdays!
