You will need the following craft supplies:

You will also need:

  • Distress Oxide Inks
  • Die Cut
  • Clear Embossing Powder

Inky Leaves

Make card base using buff card, cut to 11 x 5.5 inches. Score at 5.5 inches, fold and burnish. Cut lots of leaves of your choice using buff, mandarin orange and dark green card.

I found a leaf just outside my door and used it for colour inspiration. I randomly blended distress oxide inks on the leaves using gathered twigs, carved pumpkin, aged mahogany, pine needles and barn door.

Mixed Adhesion

Keep two for the falling leaves. Stick the other leaves in a jumbled pile near the bottom. I used small pieces of foam tape on parts of each leaf and Anita's Tacky Glue on the rest of it. This gives a random and uneven jumble. Add your falling leaves with the same uneven spread of adhesive.

Finish with a couple of die cut stitched squares in orange mandarin and dark green. Stamp sentiment using distress oxide walnut stain and emboss with a clear gloss embossing powder. Attach using foam tape.

Stamp any sentiment you like on the inside of the card.

Simple, random and colourful, this card can be used for any occasion.
