Congrats

Hello!

I am going to show you how to make a sweet card that will be made using your dies, stamps and glitter card.

The products you will need are:

To start with I used a piece of Slate Grey Smooth Card 240gsm which I cut down and folded in half to make my card base. I then cut a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm which will be the card front. After this step I got some different colours of pigment ink and my sponges to make the background. I used a scrap piece of paper to make a wavy border and blended the inks. You will then need to die cut 3 circles. After die cutting I placed a piece of Black Plain Card 250gsm which I gently glued to the back of the card front using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. You will need to make sure the area around the circles are not glued so that you can put your stamped images there.

The next step is to stamp your animal stamps onto some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and colour them in. I used some alcohol markers. After cutting the images out I then die cut my word congrats. I cut the congrats die on White Card Super Smooth 300gsm 3 times and then I die cut the word once using Silver Sparkle Card 280gsm. You will then need to glue the dies together, and the silver card will be the last piece you put on top. Adding extra layers of card will make the die much thicker and will therefore stand out more on your card. I used Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml which is great for sticking tricky dies together.

You will then need to glue your animal images behind the circle and have them peeking out. I saved one image to put on the bottom of my card. I then added my sentiment and heat embossed this onto some Black Plain Card 250gsm. I then added my card front to my card base.

To finish off the card I used some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm to add my last animal and stuck some sequins down again using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

I really love how the Silver Sparkle Card 280gsm makes the card pop and it looks so pretty. I hope you have fun using some glitter card!
