Good morning Vic here today with a simple card made colourful using inks.

I used:

  • White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
  • You will also need:
  • Distress inks or Pigment ink
  • Sponge
  • Mice stamps and sentiment (mama elephant)
  • Watercolour Ink
  • Watercolour markers or paint

To start with I made the card base. I trimmed down a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm to 4 1/8 inches and scored at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed my card front using another piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. This is the piece we will be adding colour to.

To add the colours I started with the pink and used my sponge to blend the ink to the middle of the card. Next I used purple at started applying ink to the top of my card and working down to the middle part. I then added some water to give the card a texture effect.

Adhere this to your card base.

Next I stamped and coloured my images using watercolour. Once dry I trimmed the mice out and adhered to my card using foam tape.

To finish the card off I stamped the birthday greeting onto a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and trimmed the sentiment down, adhere to the middle of your card.

Your colourful card is now complete.
