Hello. I love making shaker cards they are so much fun to receive and make. For this card I used:

Mousecard

To make the card base I used a piece of New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm which I cut and folded in half. I then cut down a piece of White Card Hopsack 255gsm, which I then ran through my die cutter using a circle die. This will be your window where you add your sequins. I then added some acetate behind the window and glued this down using some Stick it! Double Sided Tape 6mm.

For the pattern on the card front I used a stencil and blended some pigment ink over the stencil.

Turn your card over and start making the shaker, for this you will need to add some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm all around the side of the window which will become a wall. This is stop your sequins spilling out. Once this is done fill up your circle window with sequins and add this onto your card front, its easier to place the card base over the top as your sequins will fall out.

Now your shaker part is made its time to add your stamps. I used White Card Super Smooth 300gsm for stamping my flowers and mouse. I then coloured them in with my markers and once they were all cut out I placed them onto my card. I then heat embossed my sentiment using Black Plain Card 250gsm and white embossing powder.

To finish the card I stuck some sequins down using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. This card is so sweet and fun to make I hope you enjoy making your shakers as much as I did.
