Hi crafters, Barbara here with a simple tutorial for making a very easy card. As always, I started by gathering all the components together...various shades of pink and purple card, the die and a base card made from an A4 piece of white linen cardstock.

Colours used are, plain pink 290gsm, purple super mirror finish 270gsm, lilac (tea rose) sparkled pearlescent 300gsm, baby pink 240gsm, raspberry pink plain 240gsm and white linen 255gsm.

The die I used is called Cascading Stars from Spellbinders.

I cut the stars die using every colour of card, then simply mixed them up whilst placing different shades back into the main die-cut. You end up with enough pieces to make another few cards. I mounted some of the stars on top of each other to give some interest.

All I did then was add a sentiment and a few sequins.

So, an easy card which can be made with lots of different colours and textures, using scraps of cardstock.

Why not checkout the fabulous new colours on the Papermilldirect website, there are some brilliant new packs.

Back soon,

Barbara.
