Hi all,

Karen here again and I am enjoying the pink theme we have here at Papermilldirect. Who doesn’t love hearts 😊

Materials used:

Firstly, I took a piece of A4 kraft card which I love because of the texture and fleck within the card, and cut in half and then scored it down the middle to create an A5 sized card.

I then cut two strips of the rosa sparkle card - one 3.9mm wide and one 5.2mm wide. I also cut a piece of mercury sparkle card – 4.4mm wide. I glued them all together as shown. I didn’t use tape in this instance because I wanted the option of being able to move the card a little to ensure that I got the borders just right.

I cut another piece of rosa sparkle card and a slightly smaller piece of kraft card for the front. In each case I cut them approx 3mm smaller, on both sides, than the previous piece so that I achieved a nice border.

I stuck these together using cosmic shimmer glue. This is my favourite glue as it dries clear and quickly too.

I then used some fine silver DMC thread and layed it randomly over the front panel. I stuck a small piece of tape in the middle to secure it.

Using the stamp set – Romantic Elements - I stamped three hearst using Versafine onyx black ink. I cut the hearts out with scissors and placed then over the tape on the thread. I mounted the third heart with 3D mounting tape for a bit of extra dimension.
