Good Morning Vic here today.

I love making fun and colourful cards especially birthday cards. I have a really fun shaker card for you today.

You will need:

You will also need:

  • Critter stamps
  • Acetate
  • Sequins and Gems
  • White Embossing Powder
  • Pink Embossing Powder
  • Heat Gun
  • Versafine Ink
  • Copic Markers
  • Circle die

Party

To make the card base I trimmed down a piece of Turquoise Colour Card 240gsm to 4 1/4 inches and scored this at 5 7/8 inches. I then trimmed another piece of card 4 1/4 inches by 5 7/8 inches so that this piece will sit on the card base.

Using this piece of card and a circle die run this through the die cutting machine so you will have a circle cut out in the center of your card. Turn the piece of card over and use Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml or Stick it! Double Sided Tape 6mm and add this around the edge of the circle. Place your piece of acetate over this and let the glue dry. Once dry use some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm and run this around the edge of the circle. Fill the circle up with sequins and gems and adhere to the card base.

Using a piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm stamp and colour all your images and colour them in. Trim them out and adhere to the card using Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

On another piece of Turquoise Colour Card 240gsm stamp the greeting and heat emboss this with white embossing powder. On another piece of White Card Super Smooth 250gsm stamp and heat emboss a birthday greeting and adhere both to your card.

To finish the card off add some extra sequins or gems.
