Orange Butterfly Girl

Hello, It's Annette here from Netty's Cards with some Butterfly themed inspiration for you today.

I've stamped and watercoloured the gorgeous Blanch the Butterfly from Stamping Bella using a range of oranges and green shades.

I stamped the image again onto a post-it note, and then fussy cut it out to use as a mask in order to stencil a background using some Distress Inks and my blending brushes.

I added in some grass around her feet using light flicks of 3 different shades of green pen.

I've used the gorgeous Tonic Studios Deco Square Layering Die set to create a frame around her using two shades of orange card.

I speckled some ink onto the paler orange card using a sponge dauber to give it a bit of texture, although it's mostly covered up with the darker pearlised orange frame.

Finally I've layered the whole frame onto heavy white card to create a cardbase.
