Good Morning.

Do you ever get stuck on what card to use? I have made a list of my current go to card that I seem to use a lot on my cards.

Goto

So if you are on this blog lots you will know that my most used card stock is White Card Super Smooth 250gsm and White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. The reason I use this card so much is that its so versatile. Its great for copic colouring as the ink does not bleed. I also love to ink blend and when I blend the inks onto this card it really does blend like butter. Its also fantastic for die cutting and using as a card base.

Nude Sirio Colour Card 290gsm

If you have not used this luxurious card I really suggest using some. It feels so smooth and its also super think too. I also love using this card as a base too. The colour range is stunning and the Nude Sirio Colour Card 290gsm is my favorite. It has a soft pink colour that is just beautiful!

Polvere Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm

If you have used any of the Nettuno range you will know how striking this card is. There is a slight texture which I really love. The Polvere Nettuno Linen Effect Card 280gsm is a grey/khaki colour and it works great with so many other colours. I have used this on so many cards. Its also great for masculine cards.

Perla Sirio Colour Card 290gsm

This card is also a top favorite of mine. I love the soft subtle grey and its ultra thick too so its great for card bases. I love using the Perla Sirio Colour Card 290gsm on most of my cards its absolutely stunning. It is also great for die cutting too. I would highly recommend stocking up on this colour if you love a subtle grey colour. It works so well with other colours too.

I hope this was helpful if you are unsure what colours to get. Papermilldirect have so many wonderful colours its sometimes hard to choose a favorite. I use all these colours most of the time and people are always amazed at the quality of the card.

This is so useful for a beginner like me. I am easily tempted by pretty and flashy papers, that say 'Take me home!', but with no idea what they will eventually become. Now I know that a little bit of controlled shopping from this list will give me all the basics I need, to let my fancy papers sing out on real, rather than imaginary cards.
