How To Make A Birthday Card 1024X830

Today our design team member Sandie has put together a great post with details of how to make a birthday card just like this! All the 'ingredients' for making this handmade card yourself can be found at the end of the post.

Hi! It's Sandie here today and I have a sweet handmade Birthday Card to share .

To create the base of the birthday card I folded A4 white hammered card from Papermilldirect in half and creased it with a bone folder, to give a crisp fold. I then layered up some Pink and White cardstock and finally some patterned paper - each layer is 1/8th of an inch smaller than the previous layer.

I used Nestabilities Labels 28 and Classic Circle dies, stamping the "Sweet Birthday Wishes" sentiment onto the small circle. I cut out the Heart Banner die and snipped it into indivdual pieces, then I adhered them to the back of the sentiment and curled them up before adhering the sentiment to the larger circle, and then sticking it down onto the Labels 28.

Birthday Wishes Mother 1

To embellish I added a flower made using a Lotus die, some pink crystal stones and a crystal swirl.

Papermill Products used: White Hammered Baby Pink White Plain

Other Products include Classic Circles La-La Land Crafts Heart Banner & Lotus dies

Thanks for dropping by smile Sandie
