Love You Valentine Card

Hello, Sylvia here with a CAS Valentine card using a digital sentiment, die cut hearts and flicked inks. I like to get in front with my cardmaking whenever possible and have been busy this week making one or two birthday cards and this clean and simpe Valentine card.

The love sentiment was printed onto white linen card and cut out using a rectangle die, a larger rectangle was also die cut for layering. Distress ink was spattered onto the printed rectangle, two small die cut hearts and a few sequins were added. The hearts were coloured with distress ink and over stamped with text and edged with gold foil before adding. The printed rectangle was attached to the larger rectangle then to a white card blank using 3D sticky tape.

Materials used:

• papermilldirect white linen 255gsm card
• sentiment from The Lovely Studio - Happy Heart Sentiments
• distress ink black soot, festive berries, black Archival ink and Colour Chemistry gold ink spray
• Crafter's Companion small heart die and Presscut rectangle nesting dies
• gold gilding foil
