Coffee Card 6

Hi all,

Nicole here with a fun birthday card that is perfect for those coffee lovers out there. I used a coffee themed die set, and some Papermilldirect card to make a simple but fun card. The card I used was:

  • Papermilldirect Buff card
  • Papermilldirect Smooth White card
  • Papermilldirect Hammered Cream card

I started by die cutting the shapes I needed.

Coffee Card 1

I cut doubles of some of these so that I could cut some pieces off some parts and adhere them to the others, so that I got a two toned effect on the resulting piece (see the left of the image).

I then made the card base by layering the buff card and white card. I die cut a circle from the buff panel and adhered it with foam tape. I stamped a woodgrain pattern on the buff card for a bit more texture.

I then layered the coffee shapes in the circle opening and this finished the card off.

By layering on foam tape both the buff circle panel and the die cut elements it gave the card lots of dimension and detail.

I hope you enjoy and it gives you some ideas for the tea or coffee drinkers in your life!!
