With Easter just around the corner I thought I would show you how to make this Easter card.

Products used:

New Blue Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm

New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm

White Card Linen 255gsm

Jade Plain Card 290gsm

White Card Plain 250gsm

Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml

Stamps

Ink

Border stitch die

Alphabet Die

To make the card base I used the New Blue Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm which I cut down and then scored to make the card base. This is such a pretty blue colour. I then cut a piece of New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm for my card front. I added the words Happy Easter which I die cut using White Card Linen 255gsm cardstock. This is one of my favourites the texture is just beautiful. I stuck the card front onto my card base and I then added my greeting Happy Easter which I stuck down using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

To make some hills I used the Jade Plain Card 290gsm. I used a border edge die for this but you can easily cut some hills using a pair of scissors. I cut the hills twice and placed them onto my card front but I left a small gap at the top of the die as I knew I would be putting some Easter eggs and carrots here. After gluing the hills down I stamped a bunny image along with the carrots and coloured them in. For the Easter eggs I used the White Card Plain 250gsm and cut out three small oval shapes. I then added some stripes with a marker pen. I then stuck down all the pieces onto my card front and to finish I added a couple of sequins.

I hope you have fun getting creative! For more inspiration, we have additional Easter Card ideas great for kids.
