How To Make A Cute Cubs Thank You Card

Hello!

I am going to show you today how I ink blend onto my favourite card White Card Super Smooth 300gsm. My biggest tip is to stock up on this you can do anything with this card!

The products I used are:

• White Card Super Smooth 300gsm
• Navy Plain Card 240gsm
• Scarlet Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm
• Pink Plain Card 290gsm

You will also need:

• Pigment inks
• Sponges
• Thank you die cut
• Stamps
• Coloured pencils
• Small heart die
• Sequins

To make the card base I used a piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm which I cut down, scored in half and folded for my base. I then cut an A5 piece of White Card Super Smooth 300gsm for my card front.

With your A5 card you will need some pigment inks to make the background. I always start inking up my sponges and applying the ink on the edges first working towards the middle. As this card is so soft your ink blending will be very smooth. Its perfect for adding colour with your inks. Once you have finished blending you will need to adhere this to your card front. I used Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

The next step is to stamp and colour your images. I used some more White Card Super Smooth 300gsm for this and I used colouring pencils to colour the cubs in. This card is absolutely fantastic for alcohol markers too! I then cut all the cubs out and adhered them to the bottom of my card using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

For the die cut Thank You I used a piece of Navy Plain Card 240gsm and run this through my die cutter. I repeated this 3 times and glued them all together with Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I then adhered this to my card front again using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. You will then need to use a small heart die or punch for the hearts, I used a piece of Scarlet Cumbria Colour Card 270gsm for my hearts and placed them onto my card along with some sequins.

To finish the card off I used a piece of Pink Plain Card 290gsm and made an envelope.
