If you are looking for a way to brighten up your handmade cards adding some pretty card stock will help. I die cut some hearts for this card which really added some colour and fun.

To make this card I used:

Card base:

White Card Linen 255gsm

Fleck Kraft Card 250gsm

Colourful Hearts:

Baby Pink Plain Card 240gsm

Spring Green Plain Card 240gsm

Daffodil Plain Card 290gsm

Celestial Blue Plain Card 290gsm

New Lilac Smooth Card 240gsm

To start with I cut and folded my card base in Fleck Kraft and I die cut a card front in White Card Linen 255gsm. These two colours are lovely and the card is super thick which is great for card bases.  I then stamped my greeting at the top of the card. You can add any stamp or die cut for your image. I used a crocodile for this card.

Now for the fun part!

I used a heart die but you can use any shape you want. I got all my cardstock ready and run it through my die cutting machine for each different piece of card. I then added them onto Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm to add some dimension.  To finish off the card I added a few sequins but you can add some more die cuts too.

I hope you have fun experimenting with all the colourful cardstock. You can always die cut lots more hearts and keep them in a pot for later to add to your projects too.
