Hi everyone, Barbara here with a very simple Christmas card made with black smooth cardstock and gold sandgrain card......This was one of my DT cards for the Bee Crafty show on Hochanda this week, using their new set of stamps called Holly Swirl Tree & Borders

How to assemble the card

I made a black card base by joining 2 x A4 sheets together, then trimming to make an 8" x 8" base.

On a 4"x 7"" piece of card, I stamped the Swirl Tree and Seasons Greeting sentiment in Versamark then heat embossed with 'fine detail' gold embossing powder......I put this to one side.

Using a piece of 7" x 7" black I stamped the 'holly border' down the edge with Versamark & heat embossed.

Each piece was then matted onto gold mirri card and added to the black card base.

I didn't add jewels, glitter or anything else, as I wanted this one to look elegant.

So, as I said, a very simple card which could be made smaller and done as a batch of the same design.

Let me know what you think.

Back soon with more.....Christmas cards (sorry)!

Barbara xx
