Good morning.

I am making this fun shaker card today and I am really enjoying the new Sirio Colour Card which is what I used for my card base as its a beautiful blue and I immediately knew it would be great for a Christmas card.

The products I used are:

I also used:

  • Christmas stamps
  • Copic markers
  • Memento ink
  • Acetate
  • Window die
  • Sequins
  • Ribbon
  • Beads

Jolly

For my card base I used a piece of Blu Sirio Colour Card 290gsm which I cut down to 4 1/4 inches and scored at 5 1/2 inches. I folded this at the crease for my card base.

I then stamped all my images and the greeting onto some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and coloured them in with my copic markers. I then cut all these out and placed them aside for later.

I then die cut the window die using some White Card Super Smooth 300gsm and adhered this down onto the acetate using some Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml. I set this aside to dry and I then cut down a piece of Marine Blue Smooth 240gsm. Once the window die is dry I added Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm all around the edges and placed the sequins inside. I then adhered down the Marine Blue Smooth 240gsm panel onto the shaker panel and adhered this onto my card base using some Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

After this step all my images and greeting were adhered down using some more Stick it! 3D Foam Tape 9mm.

I added some ribbon at the top and to finish the card off I adhered down some extra sequins and gems using Anita’s PVA Tacky Glue 60ml.

I hope you give this shaker card a try and be sure to have a look at Papermilldirect's new Sirio colour card its amazing!
