Spooky House Scenes!

I love when I have a theme to create a card to, and what better theme than Halloween? You get to be so fun and creative, and it is so very different to any other time of the year! For this card I used:

• Papermilldirect Plain Red Card
• Papermilldirect Plain Black Card
• Papermilldirect Tangerine Orange Card
• Papermilldirect Hammered White Card

I cut out my shapes for my card on my Silhouette, but you could easily hand cut too. For my haunted house I wanted all the windows to glow orange with light. To do this I traced a piece of of the Tangerine Orange card to stick in behind the house.

I created my layers by taking a white card base, a Plain Black card layer and a Plain Red card layer.

The red layer was a little plain by itself however, so I used a stencil to add a little spooky detail using Black Soot Distress Ink.

Once my background was done I added my moon in the Hammered White card with some bats flying across it. I gave the bats spooky red eyes with Distress Stickles red glitter.

I added all the rest of my elements on and the card was done. It is so fun I love making cards like this!
