Hello it's Shary here and I'd like to show you a good idea on how to use up all those scraps that lie about on your desk, youi kow the ones where you think I'll use them eventually. And they could make you some profit!

You'll need:

Papermill card scraps, I have used white and cream linen, buff and white felt but anything will do even coloured card.  Take a look at all the colours available if you need to stock up! - papermilldirect coloured card

Anything else that you can find!

These little ATC sized cards can be used to

make ATCs to swap with other ATC groups

use as technique swatches. Just punch a hole in the top corner and tie them all together to be able to refer back to again when you're mojo goes awol

you could put your name , email address, blog address, selling page and a brief description of what you craft on the back. Then just leave one or two in cafes, restaurants, waiting rooms etc. A great way to get some customers.

Take your card scraps and cut them to an ATC size 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Now the fun bit, time to decorate.

Here are mine but these are just a guide, you can do anything the Papermill card will take a lot of mediums.

Smell The Flowers Atc

This one has been made using buff card and I have stamped onto it with versamark ink and white embossing powder. I then coloured it in with Spectrum Noir pencils. A little frantage to finish it off.

Nature

I've used plain white card for this one and sprayed inks over it. I then used distress ink to go through a stencil. Then I just stamped the sentiment and tiny flowers with black memento.

Candy Atc

Plain white card again put through the Calibur with an embossing folder and inked over with distress inks. I then added the "candy" to make flowers. I put a little bit of stickles in the centres.

Artist At Work

This one uses white linen card which I've inked over the bottom layer with distress inks. I then put a top layer of card on which I had punched and stamped. The punched out flowers were then arranged on top and "lifted" to show the colours underneath.

Kraft Atc

This one was a nice simple one. Buff card and versamark ink with white embossing powder.

Inspire

I've used ivory linen card and I inked up an embossing folder with distress ink and then put the card through the Calibur. I then brushed the raised pattern with a gold ink. The hearts and frame have been made with moulds and Martha Stewart clay. I then also brushed over them with the gold ink. Just added a sentiment to finish it off.

So there you go , an easy way to tidy up those bits! And don't forget to add your details on the back!!
