Hi there,

I want to share a unusual card with you today - a wedding card with a difference! My brother in law got married this past weekend and they are both massive Dr. Who fans, so this called for a card with a special design for them! I used the following:

  • Papermilldirect Blue Card
  • Papermilldirect White Linen Card
  • Papermilldirect Pale Turquoise Card
  • Chipped Saphire Distress ink

I used a free cut file to start with and edited it to work for what I wanted and turned it into a card shape. I used my silhouette to cut out all the pieces and inked the edges with chipped saphire distress ink.

I then printed out the parts that really make a TARDIS....

I then made a template from my cut file so that I could align all my cut pieces straight and properly lined up.

Once all the pieces were added on, this made a completed TARDIS....

When the TARDIS was opened the wedding message was revealed inside.

The wonderful wedding couple absolutely loved the card and really appreciated the non traditional take on a card!
