You can now buy Papermilldirect card in Kent!

Hope and Chances Creativity is a wonderful craft shop in Gravesend, Kent. We've now teamed up with Christine, who owns and runs the shop to give you the chance to see our card before you buy. "In 2012 I rented an office space to use as a studio. The idea to teach classes was suggested to me and very quickly I realised how much I enjoyed it. It did not take long to realise larger premises were needed so at the beginning 2013 I acquired a little shop. My recently opened craft studio/shop is a Spellbinders®Academy where I hold regular classes sharing techniques and tutorials, it is all very informative, fun and never without cake!" The shop is located at 78, High Street, Gravesend, Kent .  Our team have been to visit and thought Christine and her shop were fantastic, a great mix of top craft supplies and a genuine passion for paper crafting, exactly what is needed from your local craft shop and now they are selling Papermilldirect card too - a perfect partnership!

The joy & pleasure that I get from creating/designing unique & personalised handmade cards to give to friends & family is rewarded in return by their appreciation for all the hard work that goes into producing them.

“What do you enjoy most about paper crafting, scrapbooking and creating handmade cards?” I love the fact that I can be creative despite being the worst art student when at school. That I can pick up a stamp, some paper, card and ink and create something that I can be proud of. And on a selfish note, get a bit of praise back from the recipient! Kathleen Mc xx

As well as producing cards that are completely unique and the hobby is a great way to just escape any worries or stress you have, I love how many new friends I have made through the amazingly large crafting community on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter etc.

Too many things to mention really, but some things (in no particular order)are: having something easy to do and relaxing or creating original designs that are challenging, making items for competitions with the chance of winning a prize, helping out charities by making items for their shops or sending directly to them by post, seeing the look on someone's face when they open up a card you've made, making a scrapbook page to keep for sentimental value and for family history or making something functional.

I love making cards for charity and find it enjoyable and relaxing, it also takes your mind off other things, you are in your own little world.

Most of all I enjoy creating clean and simple cards. I've been a reader of Christine's blog for sometime and now I'm looking forward to using some of this super card in my designs. I'll be stopping by here too for inspiration! :)

My reply is so similar to so many others! The look on people's faces when they open a card that you have made (not always having taken hours and hours!) specifically for them depicting something that you know about them or that you know that they like and they realise the love that has gone into it. Also while hiding away cutting and sticking and designing I can forget about any other worries.

Giving friends and family a card that I have really enjoyed making especially for them is like giving them a little bit of myself.

So many things, including that it's so relaxing and gets me away from it all. No two cards are ever exactly alike, and it's nice to make something unique for family and friends - especially when it's made using your quality card which means I can find something to suit every occasion.

What I love most is making a card unique to the recipient and knowing that they will appreciate the extra thought

I just love the quality of Papermill card. I am nearing the end of making all the stationery for my sons wedding in August, using your pearlescent card and paper. I have had many compliments about the invites and it is all thanks for your wonderful products!

I love the feeling of making something that someone else will truly love and appreciate. Colour is very lacking in everyday life, so when I am crafting I am surrounded by colour and it is just the best feeling in the world!

I love to make cards that are unique for the recipient and to scrapbook our memories for my children. They each have a scrapbook (or two!) which are on going and hopefully will bring them and their families pleasure for years to come.
