You can now buy Papermilldirect card in Kent!

Hope and Chances Creativity is a wonderful craft shop in Gravesend, Kent. We've now teamed up with Christine, who owns and runs the shop to give you the chance to see our card before you buy. "In 2012 I rented an office space to use as a studio. The idea to teach classes was suggested to me and very quickly I realised how much I enjoyed it. It did not take long to realise larger premises were needed so at the beginning 2013 I acquired a little shop. My recently opened craft studio/shop is a Spellbinders®Academy where I hold regular classes sharing techniques and tutorials, it is all very informative, fun and never without cake!" The shop is located at 78, High Street, Gravesend, Kent .  Our team have been to visit and thought Christine and her shop were fantastic, a great mix of top craft supplies and a genuine passion for paper crafting, exactly what is needed from your local craft shop and now they are selling Papermilldirect card too - a perfect partnership!

Q : “What do you enjoy most about paper crafting, scrapbooking and creating handmade cards?” A : I love that you have the freedom to take very simple, basic supplies to create something from your own imagination that is unique and beautiful, to give to someone else and that sometimes the finished result is completely different to what you originally envisaged because there is no "wrong"in crafting.

I love being creative and the possibilities with paper and card are endless! I must admit to being a bit of a paper fan ... can't get enough of it, the textures, colours and even the smell ... wonderful! :-)

I just love the card from Papermill and its lovely that you have an outlet with the wonderful Christine Emberson. I did once go to a class at Christines shop and everything she stocks is beautiful so its no surprise she has your card. I just wish I lived closer to her shop and I could pop in more regularly Sue xxx

I love the whole process, starting with an idea not knowing where it will take me, working through the idea until its perfect, sharing with friends, family and total strangers my OOAK pieces be it cards, layouts,Etc... knowing I made that and someone else appricated it. Then there is the personal satisfaction of losing yourself in the process.

Why I love it so much... Well...I must admit I am a self confessed paperholic and the thought of escaping into my craftroom and creating something special from my paper collection.... Mmmmmhhhh...The most satisfying feeling when you create that perfect card for someone you had in mind all of the time when you made it! Their faces and response when they open and see it is soooo rewarding! (sad to say, but I sometimes lie in bed and think of my designs when I know I have to make a card for someone or know a special date is coming up..birthday, wedding, new baby or anniversary...) ;-) I'd love to have more paper and card to feed my addiction! I make cards for family and friends, enter blog challenges and make samples for shows etc. But whatever I make it has to start with good quality card - I have to admit I always go for your linen as a base and blues/greens after that. It's very therapeutic!!

I love picking up a piece of paper and letting my imagination run wild. I turn the paper in to lovely pictures or cards. I then have the satisfaction of seeing other people enjoy the results. The colour of paper I choose often reflects my mood and I find it very relaxing watching something come to life from a sheet of paper.

I love it when I make a card for someone, and they comment how lovely it is, and that they haven't seen one like it

I love making Cards using fine quality Papermilldirect products. I enjoy selling my cards and I try to put smiles on people's faces when they receive one of my cards. I try to personalise them with the names, ages or interests of the recipient. Lovely Hammered White Card is my all time favourite! :o)

I love not only creating but showing people how much enjoyment they can have creating their own cards and scrapbooks using different materials and textures to make things beautiful and treasured.

I have been paper crafting in one form or another since I was about 10 years old and I love having new and gorgeous paper and card to inspire me. The best part about scrapbooking and card making has to be the look on peoples faces when they receive something you have taken the time to make personally for them.

I love turning pretty papers and accessories into something beautiful & unique. Even the non-crafters are moved when they realise how personal a card or scrapbook is, and I get the pleasure of watching their reaction. I just wish there were more crafting hours in the day!

Creating something unique that you can't find anywhere else and seeing the pleasure when it's given to someone.
