Batch Making Cards And Notecards

Hello everyone, Barbara here with another tutorial for making very quick, easy, but effective 'batch' cards. I love making a batch of cards to save time, and for this set I've only used ONE die, with a few different embellishments. Each card only took about 5 minutes to make, so I'm sure you'll agree, you can't get much quicker than that!

Make a Batch of Unique Cards

Items used were:-

About 5 sheets of white hammered/white linen card stock and small pieces of daffodil yellow, lime green, dark violet, baby-pink, black and a small piece of inked card from a previous project.  All colours can be found on the Papermilldirect website and you can Pic & Mix a box of card with lots of colours or whites.

ONE die......apologies, but I've trawled the internet to find the name & make of this lovely die, but couldn't find it anywhere. If you know the name of it, please share.

Firstly, I scored and cut 3 x A4 sheets of white hammered and white linen card into 6 x A6 card bases.

I then cut a few designs using different coloured card, using the die and my trusty Bigshot.... (do all these at the same time....if you don't use them all, they'll probably come in handy for a future project)

Then I just assembled them all using different embellishments.....

On this card I mounted a smaller piece of white hammered card onto dark violet, as a topper. The design was cut in lime green and dark violet, then adhered to the topper. Some Ranger 'stickles' in the centre, for a bit of bling, a piece of butchers wine and a little sentiment tag, finish it off. I LOVE using white hammered or white linen as my main feature, it's so beautiful, it just seems a shame to cover it up with lots of bits and pieces.

I've used the offcut of inked linen card on this one, and a black die-cut for 'drama' .

Again, I've cut the design in lime green, then simply aded two beautiful 'teddy bear' blooms from PETAL LU http://petallu.tictail.com/, as the flower heads. More butchers twine and a sentiment tag.....all mounted onto smooth black card.

This card is so very simple to do.......using white linen, dark violet and 2 colours of distress ink, just applied with an ink duster to give enough of a background to pop the white die-cut onto. A scrap of ribbon, couple of pearls and a sentiment tag....voila!

And, last but not least.....white hammered, mounted onto daffodil yellow card. The die was cut in lime green, and I've added 3 flower buttons from EMILY BURKE https://www.facebook.com/emilysbuttonbox?fref=ts .....more scraps of twine, and the sentiment tag.

Now, what could be easier than these cards??...and altogether took no more than 30 minutes, from start to finish. Quick but very efective, don't you think?

Hope you've enjoyed looking today, and will give some of these ideas a try.

Back soon, Barbara.

I did a little looking around but couldn't locate the die either! Not sure what brand it could be, but I like it!
