Hello, Sylvia here with my weekly design team project. I used the new Hopsack textured card for this Autumn card, the texture is very much like artist canvas and I love the effect of the distress ink colouring on it. Solid stamping is difficult on textured card but I wanted a sketchy look rather than too solid an area of embossing. This card is simply made by colouring a strip of card, stamping and embossing then mounting on a contrast background then onto white card. Add a sentiment and attach to a card blank.
Materials used:
- Papermilldirect 255gsm White Hopsack and Mocha Brown card
- Ranger distress inks
- maple leaf stamp and sentiment, not sure of make
- Oak House Studio copper detail embossing powder
- button and cord from stash
