For this project you will need the following craft paper:

You will also need:

  • greyboard
  • patterned paper
  • elastic
  • eyelet & eyelet setter
  • glue
  • ruler & scissors

Trim your A4 paper to 11" x 6 3/4" and score at 2 1/2" on the short side and 1/2", 5 1/2" and 10 1/2" on the long side.

Cut a notch on both ends of the 2 1/2" score line, then fold the top flaps (the longer ones) to the back and the bottom flaps to the front.

Fold the 2 1/2" score line with the side flaps on the inside on which you will add a bit of glue creating the pocket.

Fold the 5 1/2" score line. Now you have two pages. You can make as many as you like.

Take all your folded pages and glue them together. Your pages will look like being folded accordion style.

For the covers you will need some greyboard. I cut mine to 5 1/4" x 4 1/2" and used the remaining bit for the spine.

Use some patterned paper to mat the covers and leave 1/8" gap between the covers and the spine so you can fold it easily.

Mat the inside of the covers as well.

To assemble everything fold the pages, add some glue on the reverse of the first and last pages (cut the extra flaps that you scored at 1/2" and 10 1/2") and align them with the covers. The first and last pages will be glue to the covers.

Add some elastic to the spine using an eyelet and embellish.

Use the White Card Super Smooth 250gsm to make tags and insert them inside the book so your guests can write their wishes on them. Add some ribbon on the tags as well.

Happy crafting!
