Lia has created this lovely step by step photo tutorial so you can make your own paper daffodils. We recommend you head over to her post to see even more pretty pictures of the bouquet she has made.
Apparently, there is some confusion about what welsh people should be wearing to show their national pride. Daffodil in Welsh is Cenninen Pedr which means Saint Peter's Leek, whilst the leek is the very similar word Cenhinen in welsh. According to legend when St David was set to battle the Saxons, he told the Britons to wear leeks in their caps so they could tell who was on their side. So whilst we really should all be wearing leek's to celebrate St David's Day, we do think these papaer daffodils are much prettier!
Don't you agree this would make a stunning gift for Mother's day this year?
