I started crafting at a very early age as my parents were both into crafts of one thing and another. We used to make all our cards for Christmas when I was as young as 5 and I have crafted in some from ever since. The last 10 years have been my craftiest as after an accident that put me in a wheelchair I had to find ways to occupy my time so crafting became my therapy to getting my life back together and it worked now it is my reason to get up everyday as there is always something new to try andf I just love it.My crafting goes from card making to cake decorating from sewing to knitting and everything in between. I just love it.

I have always loved art and craft and now I'm unable to work due to MS I rely on my craft as my pain management and to ease depression.

My daughter started card making and encouraged me to "have a go". That was 10 years ago and I love this wonderful hobby. She has now moved out of home and her old room is my craft room!

I have been making cards and novelty cakes for years as a way of doing something grown up while looking after 3 young children, now they have children of there own. I know live in Spain and ten years ago when we came out here birthday and Christmas cards did not exist so I had to make my own. Now it is some much easier what with internet and on line shopping. I have tried other crafts but my first love is card making and painting.

I fractured a bone in my leg and was off work for about three months. I was bored so looked at the shopping channels and found create and craft and it all started from there. I love using templates.

Hi, I started crafting when I was medically retired in 2007, as it was something I could do to feel useful again. I always say crafting saved my sanity. Thank you for the opportunity to win such a useful tool which looks so easy to use.

My very first memories of starting papercrafting was when I was a child. I remember saving all the nice greeting cards that had been sent to us and I would spend hours of fun cutting them up and gluing the pieces into scrapbooks. Then as I got a bit older (as a child), I would make them into cards for my family. Thanks for the chance to win one of these "Gyro-cut Craft Knife" Marjorie

after serious eye damage due to close lace and bridal embroidery work I turned to paper crafting as was easier for me and as artheritus has crept up on me I have still managed to make my own greetings cards and ventured to more intricate hand cut cards after buying cheap card I found a paper mill shop and have never looked back since and will always choose to buy from paper mill

I started paper crafting as part of a rehabilitation programme after I sustained a traumatic brain injury in an accident. This left me with no short term memory and they thought that as well as keeping me out of mischief, perhaps scrap booking would help record and preserve the memories that I could no longer make or retain. I had no experience at all and found (staring at) a blank page overwhelming...but eventually found I could complete a smaller project and I began card making. It was a full five years before I managed a scrap book page. Now I am a total paper addict and love trying new ideas and projects....and it still keep me out of mischief!

I started papercrafting as a way to relax after having my son 24 years ago. He was born with brain damage and a life shortening illness. I sell my cards to raise money for the charity were connected too.

I had never heard of papercrafting until I saw on qvc a cuttlebug, wondered what on earth it was, looked it up on YouTube, came across so many tutorials for papercrafting and have been hooked since. I love it because it is a great way to relax and forget all about life's troubles!

What a clever little gadget, worth its weight in gold by the looks of it. I started paper crafting when I was off work for 3 months with a slipped disc. It certainly made the time go quicker, and I made some lovely cards for all my family and friends.

I started papercrafing some 7 years ago. I cross stitch but wanted to try something new, I bought a magazine which showed you how to make different cards without any dies, cutting machines, cd's or any other tool except card, paper, scissors, pencil and a ruler needless to say my first attempts were not good (I could not cut a straight line). Now I have a room full of stash and I love every moment I spend in there. I will say however I have learned that it does not matter how many tools you have unless you use good quality card and paper you will not get the results.

I first started paper crafting when I helped a friend to complete my wedding stationery. From there I visited one of the old Papermill Direct stores and bought my wedding album, which I really enjoyed completing. Since then I've developed my love of the craft and now love to create anything with card and paper, always, where possible, using Papermill Direct card

I have always liked creating things, sewing, sugarcraft, knitting and crochet. After a back operation near to Christmas and couldn't get to the shops I decided to make cards for my family with stuff I had in my 'crafty' Cupboard. Coincidently my husband bought me a magazine 'Cardmaking with your PC' and as the saying goes I was hooked.

I started papercrafting when I was aged about four or five. I had done all sorts of crafts over the years but really started properly about 2 years ago when my partner started having epilepsy. I was stuck in the house for days on end and found I was so bored just having the tv to watch. I just couldn't sit still for hours on end and do nothing while I had to supervise my partner. I found it is something I can pick up and put down quickly when I need to. I have found it to be very relaxing and I have results that are unique and individual.

I started papercrafting because I could never find things I liked in the shops for my family and friends so decide to make them myself.
