Introducing our brand new Papermilldirect High Street Partner in Ireland
Little Craft Shop may be small in name but it is big in heart, providing Ireland with a huge range of papercrafting goodies in a new custom-created shop. Along with great big-name brands and quality products, there are on-site workshop rooms and a relaxing chill-out coffee area for crafters to meet and greet each other. Little Craft Shop prides itself on bringing creativity to new crafters through their varied workshops, encouraging inspiration and new ideas within the perfect meeting place for crafters and craft clubs.
Borne from the frustrations of the inability to find good crafting products locally, the proprietor Stephanie Montgomery, a florist and interior designer, decided to gather together the selection of brands and quality products crafters really wanted but couldn’t find. Less than two years later, her idea has grown from a website business to the newly opened purpose-designed shop based in the bustling young town of Ashbourne, just 10 minutes drive from Dublin on the M2.
“The opportunity to offer crafters more than just a shop came about when a large unit in the Ashbourne Industrial Estate became available near Dublin,” says Stephanie. “ We now have 2,500 square feet divided on two storeys, with the training rooms upstairs providing a dedicated space for our workshops, while downstairs the shop and relaxing chill-out coffee area are for crafters to exchange ideas and catch up. Crafting should be enjoyed and it’s my aim that our shop will be a crafters’ Aladdins Cave!”
