February Calendar Page - Create a Calendar

Hi Everyone,

I am here sharing my 2017 February calendar page with you all. The Papermilldirecd create-a-calendars are so much fun, I find it very theraputic to work on a months page every week or so. Then it will be like a discovery next year seeing all my work again next year! For this page I used:

• Papermilldirect Buff Card
• Papermilldirect Plain White Card
• Papermilldirect Maize Laid Special offer card
• Papermilldirect Grey Pearlised special offer card
• Papermilldirect Pastel Pink Paper

I started by inking up the white card with Tattered Rose distress ink.

I then laid a stencil over the top of it when it was dry (or so I thought) and inked through it again with the same colour ink. This was to give me a tone on tone colour, with just a slightly darker shade of the same colour.

My first layer of ink was not actually fully dry, so my circles bled a bit but I didn't mind, as it looked good still.

I then laid out a cupid and love sentiment cut on the silhouette.

I doodled around the edges...

Anf then I glued this panel down into the calendar.

These calendars are really so much fun to work with!
