Hello. It's Nessa here and today I have a quick tutorial to show you how I made this simple Floral Bookmark-stamping in paint instead of ink! ..

Bm1

I have used the black card that is on offer. It has a lovely matt finish and I stamped onto it with some white Acrylic paint to give a lovely effect. The stamps I have used are from the Background Builder set from Clearly Besotted ...

Bm3

I love stamping with Acrylic paint,it gives such a lovely effect when it is dry-it is very touchy-feely compared to stamping in ink(and it won't harm your stamps at all as long as you wash it off stright away!) ..

Bm2

I made some nice bright flowers and leaves with some Raspberry Pink and Apple Green card and my Clearly Besotted Bloom builder die ...

Bm4

Some areas of paint will stamp thicker than others, but I don't mind the imperfections and I think it just adds to the overall arty effect! ...

Bm5

I  layered up the flowers and added some pearl centres ...

Bm6

The top of the bookmark was finished with some lime green spotty ribbon ..

Bm7

I backed the Black card onto some hammered White and rounded off the corners with a corner punch to finish ..

I hope you have enjoyed this very simple tutorial-and perhaps you might have a try at stamping in paint too!

See you soon-Happy Crafting!
