I laid out all the things I would need to make this card, I die cut the shapes from Sue Wilson's new octagon dies, using the bright daffodil yellow card behind the lovely turquoise, but showing through the holes in the die cut front. I also cut the White card with the dies and just missed the fold on the card so it created the card blank, then I scored the front of the card blank in half to create the easel shape.

I placed the base panel together, wrapped the shorter piece of ribbon around, and glued it on the bottom of the easel, then tied the bow and wrapped the ends of the tag around the bow and secured with foam pads to raise the tag, I added a butterfly for decoration.

This time I put the top part of the easel together, coloured the base layer and then cut out and coloured the egg, chick and flower this was shaped with ball embossing tool and foam mat, and decoupaged on the top of the base layer, glued with dimensional glue and added a butterfly for interest.

This is the completed front of the card.

I hope you like it.

This is such a delightful card in many ways. The 3D effect on the egg makes it look egg shape. Love the chosen colour scheme.
