Hi all,

Nicole here today to share a card made with a new to me product that I tried out for the first time - Pixie Powders. I had so much fun with them and they pack a real pop! For this project I used:

I created a panel of fantastic shimmering colour using the three colours of Pixie Powders. I created this on the Papermilldirect Plain White card. This card is brilliant to work on as it can take a lot of water. I then die cut a heart from a panel of Papermilldirect hammered white card. I mounted the shimmering panel in behind this heart cut out. I then took the die cut heart and stuck it to the card at an angle to the cut out heart.

I stamped a label sentiment on the shimmer card to add on top of the card.

The Pixie Powders shimmer fantastically and they also give texture if you let the powders sit and set on top of the water. You can see the shimmer and texture in the images below.

These powders are so fun and easy to use and I have lots of other ideas to try out with them!
