A Simple Embossed Frame

Hello everyone, Barbara here with a little tutorial for a very simple technique... an embossed frame.

This makes a very plain card a bit more elegant.

1) To start, you'll need some pieces of magnetic card, cut into the sizes of cards you generally make ie. 5" x 5" or 6" x 6" .

Lie your chosen dies cutting side upwards in the design you want.

2) Next you need to cut a piece of cardstock to match the size of the magnetic sheet.

3) Place the cardstock, hammered side down, on top of the die, THEN place your silicone mat over the top, to make a 'sandwich'....run through your die-cutter

4) Now, with your finished frame, all you need to do is choose a piece of inked cardstock or an image to fit the circle/square of the card you're making.

These are the finished cards....very simple, but effective.
