Last minute Valentine’s day card idea

Nicole here to share a simple card make for those last minute love cards you might need. This one used:

• Papermilldirect Hammered White card
• Papermilldirect Pink One Sided card on Special Offer
• Altenew Label Love stamp set
• Altenew Birthday Greetings stamp set and matching die
• Altenew Dye inks
• Red twine

I stamped the balloons on the pink card in three shades of the Altenew dye inks. I then die cut them with the matching die. I stamped the Love You sentiment in one of the inks onto the pink card also and cut this out with a pair of scissors, leaving a pink border around it. I chose to stamp the balloons and label sentiment on the pink card as I wanted a white-on-white layered look with the rest of my card so I wanted some contrast with the rest of the colour.

I then added foam pads on the back of the balloons and added the twine onto the back of the foam. I adhered the balloons down onto my background. I then brought the twine down to behind the sentiment and stuck this down to adhere the bottom of the twine. 

For the background I embossed a panel of hammered white card and adhered this onto a white card base. I then left it at the balloons and sentiment, leaving them to be the key focus of the card. It is a fun but simple card that you could change up for any event!
