Hi again, Barbara here with a pretty, simple Christmas card made with colours not usually associated with Christmas.

I started off with a piece of Papermilldirect, smooth white cardstock and inked it with 3 colours of distress inks.....Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon, onto which I scattered a few drops of water to give a bit of interest.

Next step was to stamp and heat-emboss the snowflakes from www.beecrafty.net  in white embossing powder.

I then stamped the greeting onto a small piece of vellum, wrapped it around the inked card and secured it at the back.

The 'topper' was mounted onto a piece of Forest Green card, then onto a the new white 'hemp' card. I made a 7"x7" card base by joining 2 sheets of A4 together and trimming.

I die-cut a reindeer from white hemp, and adhered it to the vellum wrap.

A few 'gems' was all it needed to finish the card.....it's a bit different because of the colours, but I like to be different, now & then wink

Catch you soon, i have loads to show you over the next few days.
