Photographic papers - Which one is best for me?
We have three choices for you, as you can see above.
Gloss is the traditional inkjet photo paper. As you would expect the print finish is glossy reflective and shiny, pretty much as you would receive if you got your photos developed at a high street lab. Excellent quality and the traditional path of many.
Pearl is a semi-gloss, a satin or if you prefer lustre. This inkjet photo paper is not as shiny or reflective as the Gloss and so is preferred for wedding images, portraits and even point of sale flyers leaflets etc. This is our best selling inkjet paper and is the same price as the Gloss. There is also a double sided inkjet photo paper version.
Matt inkjet photo paper is as the name suggests, matt. No shine, no reflection and lacking the image depth that the other two inkjet papers in this category boast. Where the Matt inkjet photo paper makes up for this is in the price/quality ratio, cheaply priced but stunning images for a matt inkjet paper. Excellent for proofing purposes.
